Annual Pilgrimage 2009

The picture on the right is of the St Ethernam's Chapel - the starting point of 2009 Pilgrimage located behind Rathen West Church.

Our annual Pilgrimage took place on the 20th of June, 2009. The Pilgrims were met at Rathen Old Church by the Revd. Carol Ann Parker who gave the blessing and sent the Pilgrims on their way “In the Footsteps of St. Ethernan.” Weather was glorious! We walked on through Cortes, Fetterangus and the beautiful Pitfour Estate arriving at the Project Room in Aden Park for hospitality provided by Betty and Bunty. Grateful thanks are due to the many volunteers without whom the day would not have been such a great success.

George is now planning the 2010 Pilgrimage and we look forward to another super day. (Probably on Saturday 19 June 2010).  Details will be published in good time for pilgrims to book up.
